Good morning friends! Last year I put together a list of our fall favorites from Trader Joe’s. So many people found it helpful that I thought I would do it again this year. I always love seeing what other people are buying at our favorite grocery store and thought you would too! Many of these are favorites from last year, but there are several new ones thrown in as well.
Fall has arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. I’m looking out my window to grey skies and rain falling. While I am always sad to say goodbye to the last days of summer, I love fall too, and shopping for fun fall finds at Trader Joe’s always puts me in a fall mood! And speaking of fall, if you are looking for fun activities to do with your family, don’t miss my Portland fall bucket list filled with all kinds of ideas to keep your family busy this season!
I try to find a balance between feeding my family real, non-processed foods, while also allowing my kids to indulge a bit. Here are a few of our fall favorites from Trader Joe’s, as well as some new things we are trying out this fall.

Trader Joe’s Fall Favorites
I 100% adore all of the fall displays around Trader Joe’s in the fall. The pumpkins, the flowers, the gourds. So much fall goodness sprinkled throughout the store!
Garden Vegetable Soup
I liked how the ingredient list on this garden veggie soup was full of veggies and real food ingredients, so into my cart it went! Will be great for a night when we have soccer/dance/baseball all at once.
Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa, and Wheatberry Salad
This roasted butternut squash and red quinoa salad is now one of my favorite fall lunch options! So good! There was more than enough salad for me, so you could even split it into lunch for a couple of days.
Veggies
Trader Joe’s has these cute butternut squash zig-zags and sweet potato ribbons. They are great to add to soups, salads, or even pastas.
One of my food goals this fall is to attempt to prepare vegetables in different ways. Trying to not get stuck cooking them the same way all of the time. It keeps meals interesting and I find that my kids are more open to trying veggies they may not have enjoyed before.
Fall Pastas
My kids love ravioli, so I thought we’d give this one a try! It will either be a quick and easy dinner one night or could go in a thermos container for school lunches.
Aren’t these pumpkin shaped noodles just the cutest?
And pasta in different colors and shapes always makes meal times more fun. This tricolor spaghetti is a good way to change up your typical spaghetti dinner this fall.
Organic Pumpkin Puree
What would fall be without pumpkin puree? We use pumpkin puree year round in my house. My kids love baking breads, muffins, and cookies with it. One of their favorite recipes is my Whole Wheat Pumpkin Spice Muffins with chocolate chips. I also sometimes add pumpkin puree to homemade granola and oatmeal.
Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps and Fig and Olive Crisps
These are easy crackers to add to a caricature board because they look and sound fancy! My youngest loves the fig and olive flavor and likes the pumpkin cranberry as well.
Pumpkin Butter and Apple Cider Jam
Apple cider jam was a hit in our house, except for with the 6 year old. She didn’t like that there were small apple chunks in the jam! There were mixed reviews on the pumpkin butter. One loved it, one thought it was too sweet.
Maple Syrup
TJ’s usually has a variety of maple syrups to choose from in the fall.
Dry Roasted Maple Almonds
It is really too bad my son got braces last month because last year he devoured these maple almonds. Maybe next year buddy!
Pumpkin Spiced Teeny Tiny Pretzels
Once my kids found the bag of these pumpkin spiced pretzles I never saw them again. Honestly, they were too sweet for me, but my family clearly loved them. I try not to eat a lot of sugar, and I truly believe that the less you eat the less you crave. So when I am munching on something that is
Pumpkin Biscotti
So far my family hasn’t met a Trader Joe’s biscotti that they didn’t like. These may also be a perfect complement to your morning cup of coffee…
Mini Maple Walnut Biscotti
If you prefer maple over pumpkin, this biscotti may just be for you! We haven’t tried it yet, but like I said, we haven’t met a biscotti from Trader Joe’s that we don’t like!
Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark
This pumpkin spice granola bark has a shorter ingredient list and is delicious for a small, sweet treat!
Haunted House Chocolate Cookie Kit
Hands down favorite among my kids at Trader Joe’s in the fall. A fun take on the gingerbread house for Halloween. Other than a few bits of candy my youngest two sneak in their mouths while building, the majority makes it onto the house! If they are all sold out at your store, I actually found the same haunted house kit on Amazon as well as this gingerbread haunted house kit that is still in stock.
Fall Leaf Corn Tortilla Chips
How cute are these chips?? We only buy tortilla chips occasionally, so I thought this would be a fun treat to serve with a chili dinner one night for my family. Unfortunately a bag doesn’t last very long in this house!
Pumpkin Tortilla Chips
Fun twist on a tortilla chip for fall! Back in the day when we used to host Bunco (I miss my Bunco group and can’t wait till we start up again!), these pumpkin chips made several appearances on Bunco nights.
Creamy Toscano Cheese with Cinnamon
Trader Joe’s has an amazing cheese selection at great prices. I love that I can find our favorites along with more unique flavors. The “dusted with cinnamon” on the toscano cheese is what sold it to my kids.
Pumpkin Cream Cheese
My family also devours bagels. So when I saw this pumpkin cream cheese in the refrigerated section I knew they had to try it. Thumbs up from all of them!
Greek Nonfat Pumpkin Yogurt
Even though my family loves all things pumpkin, this Greek yogurt was a miss with my family. But, may be worth a try if you are into all things pumpkin!
Spiced Cider
We don’t have juice or cider very often in our house, so this is an extra special treat for my kids in the fall. I also like to use it in baked goods.
Flowers
I always have fresh flowers in our house. Whether they are from our garden in the summer, or from TJs in the colder months. Sunflowers from TJs are one of my favorites. Paired with the last of the hydrangeas from my garden!
While Trader Joe’s has some really good deals on flowers, I do find that you have to watch the kind you buy. Some varieties last a long time while others wilt pretty quickly.
Pumpkin Body Butter, Pumpkin Overnight Face Mask and Hand Sanitizer Spray
Pumpkin body butter is on my list every fall at Trader Joe’s. I also picked up this pumpkin mask, which is different from the pumpkin sheet masks from previous years. The spray sanitizer you can find year round at TJs, and while not fall themed, is a must right now!
Apple Cider Foaming Hand Soap
I love using products that tie in with the seasons, so the apple cider hand soap (my kids like the foaming soap best) and the pumpkin body butter were fun finds I added to my cart as well.
Candles
My teenager and I are pretty much obsessed with fall scents. Our Trader Joe’s always has seasonal candles in stock for a great price. I have both the Honeycrisp Apple and Vanilla Pumpkin scattered throughout the house. Both smell really good, but aren’t overpowering.
Pumpkin Recipe Dog Treats
Now that we have our mischievous little Australian Labradoodle in our house, we were finally able to give these a try.
Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s
And finally, these are a fall favorite of my kids, but our TJs stores do not have them in stock yet. Has anyone come across them in their store?

We are getting a Trader Joe’s FINALLY in 2022 and I can’t waitttt.
WOW what an awesome post! I love Trader Joes, but I haven’t been recently. I need to get over there to try some of these ASAP! I love pumpkin flavor 🙂
Emily | Good Mom Living
OH! These are great finds! I haven’t been to Trader’s in a while and I need to make a stop!
It looks like you got a ton of amazing things!
I have never heard of Trader Joe’s, but it looks great. This was a fun post to read!
