Swing Into Spring With Old Navy

April 2, 2019 · 18 Comments

Happy Tuesday my friends!  We are getting back into the swing of things around here now that spring break is over.  Anyone else always feel a bit bittersweet about it ending?  Ready to get back into a routine, but already missing the time spent with my family.

We took it easy this year and visited my parents at their beach house.  Even though I can’t see their sweet faces, this picture turned out to be one of my favorites from our trip!  My kids love going to the coast so much, and are pretty content just to hang out!

It really is a little cool around here to start wearing anything too springy (is that even a word?) yet, but it sure doesn’t stop me from looking and dreaming about a few new pieces to add to my spring wardrobe.  Old Navy has some cute pieces at great price points.  If you are shopping for your spring wardrobe, you will want to check out these fun finds!

On Trend For Spring: Green

I’ll start with one of my favorite colors for spring, emerald green!  Definitely looking to add more of this color to my closet.  Love how bright and vibrant it is!  I am especially loving this gingham tie front top.  The flutter sleeve green dress comes in a few other colors and would be great for Easter!

Next up is PINK!

Another one of my all-time favorite colors, whether it is a bright pink or lighter blush, pink is a staple in my closet year round.  To me it just screams happy!  I may have an obsession with all things gingham though…I thought these pink gingham pants would be so fun for spring/summer!

Old Navy tanks are great staples to have as well, and come in lots of fun colors.  And those bright pink high-rise leggings?  My youngest picked out a similar pair for me for Christmas and they are a fun change from your basic black or grey. I also love the high-rise for keeping everything in its place! 😉

Sunshine Yellow

How can you not be happy when you see the color yellow?  This is another color that I would love to have more of in my closet.  I really like the striped yellow top.  The ruffle on the sleeves takes the style up a notch so it is more than just a basic tee.  Again throwing in some gingham – how cute is the yellow gingham swimsuit? Bottoms are linked here.

Spring Wardrobe Staple: Denim

A jean jacket is a must for any closet.  There are so many outfits you can pair one with!  While the weather is still cooler, I like throwing on my jean jacket with white or other colored jeans/pants, or over a dress.

I’m trying to decide between these two chambray rompers – shorts or longer jumpsuit? They are both so cute!  Either could be dressed up by adding a pair of dressy wedges and some fun, chunky jewelry.

More Fun Finds For Spring

Here are a few more fun things I found while browsing on the website.  I bought the sleeveless swing dress last year in the black/white stripe.  It is easy to throw on and really comfortable. You can pair it with a denim jacket for cooler days.  This dress also comes in several other colors, and Old Navy makes a similar version with short sleeves as well.

I don’t own a pair of the Pixie pants, but they have really good reviews online.  There are some fun colors for spring, including this robin’s egg blue color.

I also really liked the coral color of this jumpsuit.  Another fun and bright option for spring!

I hope this post gave you some good ideas for your spring wardrobe!  What are some pieces that you are dreaming of adding to your closet this spring?

I really need to check out Old Navy, I have not been inside one in forever. I am typically a Kohl’s shopper. I don’t usually venture to far out of my comfort zone. Lol. I just purchased this whole SAHM Wardrobe guide that has over 200 outfit ideas and I am now working on adding a few key capsule pieces to my collection. You have some great inspiration here!

Thanks Sara! It can be hard to venture out of a shopping routine! Especially if you aren’t familiar with the brand or store. I love the idea of the SAHM wardrobe guide. How fun! I’m sure you found some great inspiration in there!
