Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites For Kids

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is live to everyone today, so if you have been waiting to shop, today is your day!  You can check out some of my favorites from the sale for women in my post from last week.   So many fun things, it was hard to narrow down what was actually coming home with me!

Also, if you like something but it is out of stock, keep checking back throughout the sale as many items come in and out of stock as people return things that didn’t fit or didn’t work for them.  I scored a Barefoot Dreams Cardigan by doing that last year, as well as a pair of lace up flats.  Be persistent!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also a great time to stock up on gifts for Christmas.  Yes, I know.  It is July.  I have already bought a few family gifts, as well as gifts for friends and even teachers!  Budget wise my goal is to spread out purchasing Christmas gifts this year.  I am super excited about planning ahead for the holidays!  My twelve year old thinks I am a bit nuts though and refused to answer when I asked her what she wanted for Christmas.  In her defense, she did just have a birthday…

Today I am sharing my favorite finds for kids.  With a two year old, nine year old, and twelve year old my kids are constantly outgrowing things.  I pretty much buy 90% of their clothing on sale. Or in my toddler’s case, hand-me-downs from her big sister and friends, so free!

Shoes For Girls

I find it just as hard to resist buying shoes for my girls as I do buying shoes for me.  My poor husband… 😉  These first four options would be great for back to school.  I hate to even say that!  My kids didn’t get out of school until the end of June so it still feels like summer is just starting. Don’t want to even think about them going back!

My almost three year old is going to LOVE the Tucker and Tate kitty cat shoes.  She currently has a pair similar to the Mini Melissa flats above that were given to us by a friend, and loves, loves, loves them.  Hers even smell a little like strawberries, but I am not sure if these ones do as well.  The Treasure and Bond booties remind me so much of a similar pair of Lucky booties I bought last year.  Super cute for my tween!

I thought the Joules rain boots above were the cutest!  We get tons of rain here in the winter so rain boots are a must.  If you haven’t tried them, my oldest loves her Natives.  She wears them in the spring, summer, and fall.  I love that they can get wet too!  This pair only comes in the sparkly blue, but you can find other colors and styles at Nordstrom.com or Zappos.com.  We have found that they run a little big.  If you are unsure about sizing, I’d recommend ordering a couple different sizes. Both Nordstrom and Zappos have free shipping and free returns.

If your kiddos play soccer, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to buy Adidas soccer cleats at a good price.  Sizes are limited right now, so keep checking back if you don’t see the one you need.  Finally, these UGG slippers would make a great Christmas gift.  I have a grown-up version of these so I had to include them.

Clothing For Girls

Below are a few of my favorites for girls.  My oldest weighed in on a couple of these pieces as well.  Those tweens always have an opinion! 😉

The twist knot Treasure and Bond top was one that my daughter picked out.  I ordered it true to size, but it hasn’t arrived yet, so fingers crossed that it fits her!  The Tucker and Tate bunny sweater also originally came in a grey color with a flamingo on the front. Cutest sweater I have seen so far this season!!  It is unfortunately not in stock right now (or even listed on their website).  After stalking their site for a few days I found it back in stock and ordered it.  This bunny is super cute too though!

The Treasure and Bond side zip sweatshirt I just found today.  Love the zipper detailing. Looks like it would be cozy for fall.

Isn’t that jean jacket just the cutest?  My youngest already has a jean jacket that fits her, but if she didn’t, this one would have been in my cart for sure!  The AG denim comes in little and big girl sizes. Liked the distressing on these – not too over the top.  I have a red pair of jeans that I love, so I had to include these ones for the younger set.  The Zella Girls high waist leggings are some of my daughter’s favorites. She definitely gets a lot of wear out of them.  Nordstrom also carries similar high waist Zella leggings for women, which I love as well.

Shoes For Boys

My nine year old pretty much lives in Nike sneakers, but that didn’t stop me from taking a peek at the cute options for boys.  If your son is like mine, there are a few pairs of Nike shoes on sale in addition to the one I linked below.

When my son was little I loved the See Kai Run brand.  He had wide feet, and they were one brand that actually worked for him.  I love the grey and blue on this pair because you can wear it with so many things.  The soccer shoes I linked above in pink also come in this neon yellow color if you need to gear up for fall soccer!

Boys Clothing

I have to admit that I don’t have as much fun shopping for my son as I do my daughters.  Part of the reason is because he wears Nike shorts and t-shirts every single day.  Do you see a pattern here?  I have been told by moms with older boys that he will grow out of that someday…So when I look for boys, I am really looking for pieces that I wish he would wear!  Although I did throw in his favorite pair of shorts here as well.

If you are a fan of North Face, this is a great time to buy a jacket at a lower price point.  I know it is hard to think about winter when it is sunny outside!  Tucker and Tate have some cute pants right now for boys.  Some of the options come in little and big boy sizes as well.  I always love a good camo print – wished mine would still wear them!

If you are ready to do some back-to-school shopping, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has lots of fun finds for kids. Just remember that sizes sell out quickly. Best thing about Nordstrom is that you can always return something if it doesn’t fit or you don’t love it (free returns by mail if you aren’t close to a store).  Free shipping and free returns makes such a difference when shopping online!

Would love to hear about your favorite kid finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

Of course Amy! Hope you were able to check it out. It opened to cardholders over a week ago, and to everyone on Friday. Popular items sell out really quickly, but if you see something you like, keep checking as things often come back in stock as people make returns.

Thank you Melisa! I am such a sucker for shoes! I made myself pick one pair for my toddler – the silver kitty cat pair. I could totally get into trouble buying shoes for my girls!
