March Friday Favorites

March 30, 2018 · 10 Comments

Welcome to my March Friday Favorites!  If you are new to my blog, I highlight some of my current favorites on the last Friday of each month.  I always find some kind of inspiration when reading about others’ favorite finds, so hope you find something this month that peaks your interest too!

Friday Favorites

Hello Gorgeous

This mug.  Up until now, I have not been much of a coffee drinker.  Caffeine always messed with my body, but I am finding that most of the time, I am ok with caffeine now.  I definitely don’t drink it too often – just a few times a month. Save it for those days I really, really need a pick me up! I found this mug at Target awhile back.  Blush and gold are some of my favorite colors, which is what drew me to it in the first place.  The message is pretty darn good when you are just waking up in the morning as well!

Floral Sweatshirt

I am now on board with florals.  In moderation.  And it has to be the right piece.  I still can’t do tiny florals.  I think because it reminds me a bit of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Who I love, but it just isn’t my thing.  So this floral sweatshirt has quickly become one of my favorites.  Sweatshirts haven’t always been my thing either, but now that I have found some stylish options, I am much more likely to throw one on occasionally.

Navy Striped Dress

Love this cute navy striped dress I picked up last month when I went shopping for spring break.  If you are looking for spring dresses, you can check out my post about some of my favorite casual dresses for spring.

Since it isn’t quite warm enough to wear on its own yet, for now I am pairing it with my jean jacket and white converse shoes.  Bonus is that navy and white are my son’s baseball team colors, so I can wear it to games and still be stylish and comfortable too!

Honest Company Hand Sanitizer

This has been my go-to hand sanitizer for the last year.  I love it because it does not slide off little hands when I apply it like regular hand sanitizer does. Once I spray it on, even my toddler can rub it together without making a mess.  For me, it is all about minimizing those little messes!!  I also like that Honest Hand Sanitizer Spray does not have a strong scent (at least the kinds I have tried!). It is made without harsh chemicals and from plant-derived ingredients.  Definitely one item that is always in my purse!

Lately I have only been able to find the free and clear at my local Target, but have also used the lavender and orange (which smells like creamsicles!).  At my Target it is stocked in the baby hair and body care section.

Blush Sperry Shoes

These cute shoes came in the mail right before we left for our spring break vacation, so I haven’t had much time to wear them yet.  I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9 in shoes and ended up with the nines in these Sperry Seaside Perf Sneakers  I love the light blush color and think they will be perfect for spring!

This Crew

My final Friday favorite is this crew.  If you read my What’s Up Wednesday post from a couple days ago, you know our spring break trip did not go as planned.  In fact, this is the only family picture we took the entire time.  Honestly I was so bummed about that as we were flying home.  Here is the thing though.  This picture tells a story.  While we definitely had some big downs on this trip, we hung in there and tried to make the best of it.  This photo was taken when we were trying to make the best of a trip that was not ideal.

Bonus points that two of the three kids are looking at the camera!

Love these people!  I know that we will remember this trip for years to come, and hopefully at some point be able to laugh about it!

That is a wrap on my Friday favorites for March.  Hope you all are having a fantastic Friday!  If you are on spring break this week, hope you are enjoying time off with your family!

Cheers to the weekend!
