Friends we are cruising through October! Our weather here has been gorgeous this week! More like September weather with highs in the 70s. I LOVE these beautiful days and am hoping that they last a bit longer. Makes all of the fun fall activities so much better!

Here in no particular order this month are my Friday Favorites for October. Just sharing a few things that I love with you, because sharing is fun, right?! Hoping my three year old will pick up that concept any day now… 😉
Amazon Prime Wardrobe
How am I just finding out about this? Amazon Prime Wardrobe is a fantasic service for Prime members who may not have the time to get into a retail store. You can choose 3-8 items per order ranging from clothing to shoes to accessories, as long as the items are eligible through Prime Wardrobe. The best part is that there is no initial cost when you order, and you have 7 days from delivery to decide what you want to keep or send back. Trying on pieces in the comfort of your own home is a big plus. Prime Wardrobe also has tons of items for women and men to choose from, including pieces from J.Crew Mercantile. Okay, so I guess there are a lot of best parts to this service! For more details on exactly how Prime Wardrobe works, take a look at my post on Why You Should Try Prime Wardrobe.
Similar Sweater | Jeans | Booties
My favorite tops from my first order were this camo sweater above, which is unfortunately sold out right now in this print, and this cute and casual tie knot t-shirt, which comes in multiple colors. I did find a similar camo sweatshirt, but it is not currently available through Prime Wardrobe. However you can order it through regular shipping on Amazon or Amazon Prime.
Pumpkin Spice Muffins
My oldest daughter has made my pumpkin spice muffins so many times in the last month! I love that you can make them two ways. One of them includes chocolate! Either way they are healthier than your average muffin so you should give them a try. Perfect as an after school snack or with your morning coffee.
Target Finds
I am such a sucker for leopard print AND anything blush colored. So when I saw this leopard print sweater and blush suede jacket I was sold. Typically I love just a pop of leopard – shoes, scarf, etc. Since this sweater wasn’t over the top and it was under twenty dollars it was a win for me. Leopard print on a budget!

Apple Farm
With the change of seasons also comes a number of new fun family activities. Years ago I went to an apple farm with my son on a preschool field trip. He was four at the time and is now almost ten, so it was high time we went back! Oregon Heritage Farms is the sweetest little apple farm. If you are in the area you definitely need to check it out.
While the activities are geared towards the younger set, my big kids still had fun running around with their little sister. My youngest had a blast looking at the goats, navigating a small hay maze and spider web, and jumping in the apple shaped bouncy house. Weekends are a little more action packed with an apple sling shot and hay rides through the farm.
In addition to apples and pumpkins, they also sell Apple Cider doughnuts (best ever according to my daughter), caramel apples, and apple cider slushies.
Whiskey in a Teacup
Pretty much anything by Reese Witherspoon is going to find its way onto my must-have list. Her movies are some of my favorites, and I love her store Draper James. Reese if you are reading this, please, please open one in the PNW!
She seems like a geniunely honest and good person, so I was thrilled to see she recently came out with a book, Whiskey in a Teacup: What Growing Up in the South Taught Me About Life, Love, and Baking Biscuits.
Fall Ball
Lately I have been realizing just how much I love baseball. Especially watching my nine year old play. He has worked so hard this fall and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Watching him put so much effort into something he cares about has been such a joy. Our amazing fall weather has been perfect for baseball too.
Although now that the season is over, I realized that I haven’t really taken any pictures other than this one of him pitching. He has two games this weekend so I need to start snapping away!
Hope you enjoyed this month’s Friday Favorites! Enjoy your weekend!
Love that the older two have so much fun with the youngest! They are such good loving siblings! Without realizing it they are learning some great lessons about love and caring for others! Great job!
Thank you! They do love each other MOST of the time!!
How fun… I want to take my girls to an Apple farm!!! It would be such a sweet fall family tradition!
Going to the apple farm does make it feel a little more like fall around here!
Summer is definitely gone. It’s been cold weather here in our Area as well. I would love to take my daughter to an Apple farm I think it would be fun. Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome! While I miss summer, I do love our fall traditions!
I wish we had a apple farm here. But that camo shirt is something I’m loving.
I didn’t have apple farms where I grew up, so I love that I can do this with my kids now!
Those target finds are gorgeous. Love the pink jacket.
I was so excited to find the pink suede jacket. It is a great layering piece since I am always cold!
