Lately Amazon has been my go-to for just about everything. A couple years ago we jumped on the Prime bandwagon and have never looked back. It is such a timesaver when life gets busy! I’ve purchased everything from clothing, to kid snacks, to gift cards, to last minute gifts. Right now we have a DVD player, piano book clip holders, a travel book, and retainer cleaning tablets heading our way.
Not sure how our parents managed to survive without it! 😉
I love seeing what other people are buying on Amazon. I usually find some great ideas for my next order, so I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite Amazon purchases in the last month.
For full transparency this post contains affiliate links, meaning, I may earn a small commission if you happen to click on a link and make a purchase (at no cost to you). It also allows me to see what things you are interested in and helps me create future relevant posts. These small commissions help support my blog (and my kids’ never ending snacking habits!), so please know that I really appreciate you following along!
Packing Cubes
Packing cubes seem to be everywhere right now, so I finally gave in and ordered a set. I looked at several options before purchasing, but liked this set of six packing cubes because they received great reviews, come in a bunch of colors, and there are six in a pack (2 of each size). My plan is to order a different color for each member of my family. The smaller two sizes worked best for my carry on, and all three sizes will be great for our bigger luggage.
The thing I like the most about packing cubes are that they help me stay way more organized. I can organize outfits by day or by style of clothing. For the last weekend trip I took I put my pants and tops in the larger cube, and my pjs, undergarments, and socks in another.
Do you see my little helper? Although I am not quite sure how much she was helping… 😉
Clothing
I thought this was the cutest tshirt! I’m usually an XS, but ordered the S and it fits really well. I was plesantly surprised by the quality of the shirt as well. Not warm enough to wear here alone yet, but will be fun underneath some of my cardigans or jackets.
As my friend put it, these Barefoot Dreams Socks are like the Cadillac of cozy socks! I bought these as gifts for several of my friends/family this past Christmas and everyone loved them! I pretty much wear cozy socks year round, so these are a must to keep my toes warm and cozy!
Gifts
For his tenth birthday last month my son asked for this pogo stick. If you have a ten year old boy you know that they can be a bit tricky to buy for. Phasing out of more childish toys/games, etc., but not quite ready for tween or teen age gifts. He immediately took off on it and now happily bounces all over outside or on rainy days, in our garage. My one requirement is that he wears a helmet when he bounces. 😉 It is a great way for him to release some of his never-ending energy!
These La Chatelaine lotion tins are cheaper on Amazon than other stores in my area. I bought a few for some of my girlfriends at Christmas time. The Cherry Almond, Wild Fig, and Winter Flower set was my favorite, but there are a few other gift sets with different scents. And how adorable is the packaging tin??
This month I hosted my Bunco group and ordered three of these rose gold portable bluetooth speakers for prizes. You can imagine how excited I was when I actually ended up being one of the prize winners that night! These adorable little speakers are so cute and I loved the color. Come in gold and black/grey too.
One Line A Day
I received this One Line A Day book from a friend at our annual Christmas Bunco gift exchange. It is a 5 year memory book/journal You can start anytime – doesn’t have to be the beginning of the year. It is perfect if you like journaling or recording memories, but don’t have enough time in the day to write longer entries. The book is small enough to fit into a purse for when you are on the go.
What is in my cart for spring:
This darling swimsuit cover up that comes in ten different colors! Makes me so excited for warmer weather and vacations!
More of the packing cubes I mentioned above (for the rest of the family!).
Every March my kids comment on how I have zero St. Patrick’s Day decorations. Since I recently found out that I have a tiny bit of Irish running through my blood, I probably need to slightly step up my St. Patty’s Day decorating. I found this simple and cute shamrock garland, these green buffalo check dish towels (which also come in other colors), as well as a jute table runner sprinkled with a few shamrocks.
My holiday decorating taste tends to be a little more simple and understated, but my kids like things a little more “holidayish.” I know that isn’t a word, but I think you probably get what I mean! Hoping these will be a happy medium.
What are some of your favorite recent Amazon purchases? Would love to hear what everyone else has in their cart!
Truly LOVE that t-shirt – it is the cutest!
And packing cubes – I hadn’t thought of this before. I have an overseas trip in April, need to invest in some for sure.
It is my new favorite t-shirt! The packing cubes worked great for me. Definitely worth looking into for your trip!
I love one line a day. I have given that as a gift so many time! It is so cool to look back on.
It is a fun gift, and one I had never thought of before! Such a great way to record memories – quick, easy, and meaningful!
Your cute little helper matches the cubes! Back in the day we had more catalogs to look through and order from, plus trips to bigger towns to shop were always fun!
Yes she does! I didn’t notice that! I remember the catalogs. I used to get so excited when that Christmas JC Penny Catalog came… 🙂
Hey, I love the teeshirt and especially the cute little memories notebook. I must buy those
I was so excited to find the t-shirt! It is really fun. The memory book would also make a great gift!
I love that shirt – so cute!
Thank you! It is definitely one of my new favorite t-shirts. Cute and sassy!
Love getting clothes on Amazon for my kiddo- there’s always something ridiculously cute. I just got one of those back massagers that I’ve had on my wish list… been having some pain lately from sitting at my computer so I finally bit the bullet and got one and it’s amazing!
I’m sorry to hear that you have been having back pain! That back massager sounds like a great idea! I’ll have to look into that one!
Amazon prime is such a lifesaver!! And those packing cubes look awesome and such a more effective way to pack!
It is! I do feel guilty sometimes about all of the boxes, but we do reuse or recycle. The packing cubes are great – I am definitely ordering different colors for my other family members.
We got some Perler bead sets for the kids and we’ve been having so much fun with them!
My older two loved those sets when they were younger! We have several left over, so hoping my youngest will have fun with them too!
I love the packing cubes. So nice.
The cubes really made my suitcase so much more organized!
