Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Life around here as a busy mom of three kids is crazy but I really wouldn’t have it any other way. Despite the chaos I’ve come to realize how important it is to embrace the everyday moments and to appreciate the simple beauty in life whenever we can.
It is funny how life twists and turns and is constantly throwing you curveballs. Recently some of those game changers (can you tell I live with boys who love baseball?) have inspired me to become a better and stronger version of me. A better mom, wife, daughter, friend, cook…you get the idea. Being a mom is rewarding but HARD on so many different levels! Having tiny little humans depending on us for just about everything is exhausting and overwhelming. Yet is is also beautiful and amazing all at the same time. We often tend to put everyone and everything else before us, leaving few moments to take care of ourselves. My hope is that while hanging out here you will find something to inspire you to feel good about yourself, your family, and your life. If I can make your life a little bit easier by helping you figure out what to wear to that soccer game, or what to make for dinner on a hectic weeknight then my job is done!
A little about me….I grew up in Wyoming then moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to attend college where I met and married my college sweetheart. I’m a former teacher turned domestic engineer and I currently spend my days chasing after a sweet but extremely active and curious 2 year old, shuttling her two older siblings (ages 8 and 11) to various extracurricular activities, all the while trying to appear put together and composed. Looking at our family calendar sometimes makes me want to cry…
My loves…my husband, kids, dark chocolate, shopping (without the kids), feeding my family real food (which happens almost 90% of the time), reading, photography, and going on adventures with my crazy crew.
Things I could do without…spiders, washing the dishes, whining, and those giant waving inflatable balloon guys (totally give me the creeps)…
